The story behind every student who want to be a designer is that they are fascinated and interested in handling computers. They think that as they learn how to handle it, it leads to mastery in the design field. Software matters in the design field for more accuracy and production of output, but most of the best designers still sketch and draw on paper first.
“The best designers are concept generators and fast executors”
Designers’ industry demands the versatility of ideas, and it also has limits. cause when we design something, there is no limit at most to do more, but we have to limit ourselves to deliver projects and enhance the outcome in a better way.
Initially, we are new to the field, so most students think that design is a direct process, but it is a link process. Design connects various consequences of processes. Designers make sure that they think from a variety of perspectives. Perspectives make our views broader. We use software for accuracy and precision. But hand-drawn sketches are drawn within seconds without applying a command. Our hands perceive more connection to ideas and a proper linkage to them.
Before we start to learn software, we have to develop our minds and learn to present ideas on paper and in front of a client. Our soft skills and presentation skills matter more. Because it approves our project and reflects how strong our project is?
As a summary of this article, I want to present one important skill that every designer should admire, and it is the ability to present or convince their idea in front of a crowd. Because “our actions of words matter more than paperwork.”
